Something doesn't feel right comparing these throwbacks with today. A lot has changed.

Then, our worth and potential haven't been estimated. It's all a process. Perhaps, if we become a world power, all these can be corrected.

I believe that WAS a Nigeria not dependent on Imports

A Nigeria contented with what it produces, A Nigeria whose exports to its colonial masters was lesser than its imports...

The Nigerians of then had very little need for dollars, the naira was more important and valuable to them
