Why Hasn't ICC Issued A Warrant Against ISIS? Syria.. by Nobody: 7:03am On Feb 07, 2016 |
Someone asked this question about the International Criminal Court. Meanwhile, warrants continue being issued against African leaders. All convicts are African. There is also George Bush, Tony Blair, who invaded and destroyed whole countries just because they did not tow the line. Just to illustrate the point that the ICC was formed to Control Africa by prosecuting/persecuting African leaders only. And that's why the mass Walkout of ICC by African States will spell instant death to the colonial outfit. |

Raphael81: It should not. But you see, the practise is different. For examplr; The US walked out of it yet it still is the biggest contributor. Sudan too, is not a signatory, but there is a Warrant of arrest against Bashir. You may be right about ISIS though. The ICC statute does not foresee non- conventional armies and states. Terrorism needs either a complete overhaul of the ICC Statute or a whole different convention dedicated to such scenarios. |
