a youth Corp member, serving at the obunnagha community, southern ijaw local govt area of bayelsa state, went missing late sunday evening, after frantic effort by His room mate to get across to him via his cell phone proved abortive, he was then checked at the said place where he said he was visiting. He had told his room mate and neigbhours that he was going to bathe/ defecate at the river flowing through the community, so search parties went to the said bank of the river. His bucket was there,his clothes and handsets were there but he was no where to b found.
it caused a huge scene at d community yesterday, where community leaders ordered youths to go on boats to search 4 His body.
His body was leta found today(monday 8th february 2016) and brought to the bank of the river where huge crowd of bewildered people gathered to catch a glimpse at the body.
His relatives were said to be on their way at the time of writing this.
I was hesitating to write this, but I want to plead with all youth Corp members, when u r sent to a place where there r rivers and oceans and u knw u can't swim, please avoid those places.

Its possible he knew how to swim but something went wrong because he wouldn't have make an attempt if he doesn't know how to
Maybe the river does not accept stranger(my opinion though) or maybe his village people have decided to end his carrier that way
May his soul rest in peace and God should give his family who have labored to bring him this far, the fortitude to bear the loss
