A SHORT STORY OF TIV HISTORY. Tiv have 3 Sons,Gbe, Ichongo and Ipusu. 1. Gbe is alone. 2. Ichongo have these Sons: Nongov, Ihyarev, Masev, Turan, Ikurav and Ugondo. 3. Ipusu have these Sons: Shitile,Ukum,Tongov, Kunav, Shangev, Gaav, Nanev, Ukan, Nyam, Tombo and Utange. Now let us go into the Political Blocks in Tiv. Tiv have 5 Political Blocks as:1. Jemgbagh, 2. Jechira, 3. Sankera, 4. Kwande and 5. MINDA. Jemgbagh have 3 LGA's as, 1. Gboko, 2. Buruku and 3. Tarka. N.B, Jemgbagh is Tombo and Nyam. Jechira have 2 LGA's as, Vandeikya and Konshisha. N.B,Jechira is Kunav, Gaav and Shangev-Tiev. Sankera have 3 LGA's as, 1. Katsina-Ala, 2. Ukum, 3. Logo. N.B, Sankera is Shitile,Tongov,Ukum, Ugondo and Ikurav-Tiev. In Sankera we have Ugondo and Ikurav-Tiev as Ichongo. Kwande have 2LGA's as, Kwande and Ushongo. Kwande have Barakuv and Barazov. Barakuv is the upper Kwande LG which have Turan, Ikurav-Ya, Shangev-Ya and Nanev. Barazov is Ushongo LG which have Ukan and Utange. N.B, In Kwande we have Turan and Ikurav-Ya as Ichongo. MINDA have 4 LGA's as Makurdi, Guma, Gwer and Gwer west. MINDA is Masev, Ihyarev and Nongov. Now the issue of TorTiv: the First was Makir Dzakpe, Kunav, Ipusu. 2. Gondo Aluor, Ugondo, Ichongo. 3.
