A CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO HIS EXCELLENCY MR UDOM EMMANUEL, EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF AKWA IBOM STATE ON HIS VICTORY AT THE SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA BY MRS MEFLYN ANWANA

On behalf of Akwa Ibom State new media Practitioners , I celebrate with His Excellency Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State; Her Excellency Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel, the first lady; the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State; on the confirmation of His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel as the Governor of our dear Akwa Ibom State by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The Supreme Court ruling is a confirmation both of the perfect will of God and of the irrefutable choice of Akwa Ibom people. It also reinforces the confidence our people have in the judiciary. This is a good development for the advancement of democracy in our nation Nigeria and Africa at large as it goes a long way to pattern true democracy for other African nations.

Transparent, accountable,Competent and Committed leadership,is the model Leadership people crave for world over Governor Udom Emmanuel is a model of this kind of leadership and this Victory shows that In the April 2015 elections, Akwa Ibom people overwhelmingly voted for him therefore no amount of opposition can contest that mandate.

It is time for Akwa Ibom people from all political parties and all ethnic subgroups to rise up and support our God-ordained Governor .
