Re: Strictly Arsenal: by loyika(m): 2:47pm On Nov 24, 2006
Guys could we all get back to the football please angry JESUS!!!!!

Mr. Amodu, i am really sorry i ain't the administrator of this forum, or else i would have banned you a long time ago. I praised you a while back for being a peace maker, but you have only returned back to what i saw you as, "a rambler" Please do this S@*t somewhere else tongue

BACK TO ARSENAL MATTERS: I found this piece of info, to keep up our confidence for tomorrow, here ya'll

"Bolton have come to be known as Arsenal's bogey team, but surprisingly enough, the statistics don't support that term.

Out of 118 fixtures played between the two clubs, Arsenal have the upper hand with 47 wins, scoring 200 goals and conceding only 157. 34 games were draws and Bolton have only beaten Arsenal 37 times.

In the last 10 years (since Arsène Wenger took charge), Arsenal have beaten Bolton 6 times, drawn 5 times and only lost 3 times.

Admittedly, the last 2 losses have come only recently and Arsenal have been known to have difficulty coping with Bolton's hard-tackling and long ball game.

The last time Arsenal beat Bolton was in 2005. Freddie Ljungberg got the only goal in that FA Cup fixture. "

http://www.arsenal-mania.com/articles/3103245/Bolton-v-Arsenal-Fixture-History.html

We need to put a stop to this rubbish that Bolton are better than what they are, they are noting but a rubbish excuse for a football club, and i hope the boys show them how useless they are (FFS if the scum can score 4 against them, we should be able to blow them out the water!! Mr Walrus tongue, we owe your team a good thrashing, and i hope you get it on sat).

Pls Gooners no more references to Amodu, as far as i am concerned he does not exist (until he changes his approach, or shows evidence of enrolment into GST 101: Proper use of the English Language

COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE ARMY!!!

cool GOONER 89
Re: Strictly Arsenal: by Jackal(m): 2:59pm On Nov 24, 2006
The information u have got failed to show that Arsene Wenger has never beaten Bolton in the Premiership.
In addition, in the 51 games played at the Reebok stadium between the 2 teams Bolton has won 24 and Arsenal has won just 12 with 15 games drawn.
Its no rocket science, Bolton has the edge on their soil and will pulverise the gooners tomorrow.
This why every fan/pundit  in the world knows tomorrow's game will go Bolton's way.
What Bolton does is to bully Arsenal off the park and most deicisions will go Bolton's way because they are playing at HOME.

Any team capable of imposing its physical presence will always beat Arsenal.
Sam Allardyce knows what to do. Gallas' absence will also add to Bolton's advantage so y'all gooners should expect a horrid time especially with Anelka and El-Hadji Diouf assuming the role of tormentor-in chief.

My Prediction: Bolton 3-1 Arsenal.

@Jackal

Bolton who? Let them keep wandering until they get out of the desert but men forget them picking points against us whether it be Reeebok or Nike stadium we would be playing them, they are in for a thorough thrashing tomorrow, best believe this cool

I would have thought by now the handwriting on the wall would have made you realize that your club The MANURE or MANSCUM is just so inconsistent, maybe as inconsistent as any other club in the globe probably except Lyon as at now, but yet you keep blabbing about how you will demolish anyone with your 1st team intact, I wonder man, i wonder
Re: Strictly Arsenal: by SirKay3(m): 3:56pm On Nov 24, 2006

You said it all.

Re: Strictly Arsenal: by ObaMan(m): 4:24pm On Nov 24, 2006
Bolton vs Arsenal

This fixture is between the two most respected coaches in the premiership aside the Queen's Knight who uses and dumps Stars.
shocked

But
BOLTON Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has warned Arsene Wenger that he has the secret to beating Arsenal as the Gunners prepare to face his team at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.

So
I believe we have learned from that and hopefully we can have a better game at Bolton this time

I.E.
Their game plan is very simple; if your opponents has more skill than you, do all you can to kick him out of his stride. Then, at every opportunity, get the ball into either corner of your opponents half and try to win a set play by fair of foul means. Dive and time waste a bit along the way if you can and try and get your opponent booked if possible. Quality players like Kevin Nolan and Stelios give their bluff and bluster a cutting edge and Allaryde doesn't even try to pretend there is anything more to his planning than that.
Let's paint a picture that should tip anyone who believes Big Sam is the man for England into my 'No' camp. Imagine the 2010 World Cup quarter-final pits England against Brazil in Johannesburg. Then place Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney and Owen in a dressing room listening for some advice and it may go something like this.

'Right lads, this lot are better than us to day, so I was to you to kick them all over the place,' their manager may begin. 'Wind them up as much as you can and try and get a couple sent off. Do all you can to win corners and throw in's in the attacking third. Hit Crouchy all you can as well. They don't like it up em.'

The sight of a world class player like Rooney running the ball into the corner and trying to win a set play would be a crime against the beautiful game and the only winners from Big Sam's England era would be Peter Crouch and anyone who can throw the ball a long way from the touchline.
Re: Strictly Arsenal: by marlet01(m): 5:55pm On Nov 24, 2006
It has been recoreded that Thierry Henry has been ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Bolton Wanderers because of neck injury.

Coach Arsene belives that “It is a short-term problem, and he should be okay for Wednesday night against Fulham,” manager Arsene Wenger said.

Fellow forward Robin van Persie is suspended following a fifth yellow card of the season against Liverpool.

Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor could lead the attack, although England starlet Theo Walcott may get a start.

Gilberto is pressing for a return after dropping to the bench against Hamburg following his trip to Brazil on compassionate grounds.

Arsenal would be without Tomas Rosicky which is currently suffering from a hamstring injury and defender William Gallas who is also suffering from a thigh injury they both making good progress but will not yet be available.

so Arsenal would be without Mark's man THIERRY HENRY and ROBIN VAN PERSIE
