Connecting to the internet has usually been through the Wi-Fi but now, owners of Bluetooth technology has announced a new adds-on feature that will allow for smartphones or tablet to connect to the internet via Bluetooth without the need for third party device. This is new feature is basically an "architecture standard" that can be used to update Bluetooth devices to allow them access the web directly.

Advantage for this new development in Bluetooth technology will be a plus to the Internet of Things (IoT); which actually suggests that we can make life better by linking technology and giving people more knowledge and control anytime, anywhere. So most device which are already out there with an in-built Bluetooth technology can be updated to connect to the internet without the need for a Wi-Fi system in place.
