You can now see many reasons why both individuals and government agencies are recently attacking MTN left right and centre.

Remember the N1.04trillion fine that was handed to MTN late last year by NCC.

And we were informed that even Etisalat recently dragged MTN to court for acquiring Visafone behind closed doors and without allowing fair bidding.

As if that was not enough, the most recent in the different MTN sagas is that CPC has ordered them to pay N1.8million to winner of one of their promos.

MTN definitely have many skeletons in their cupboard and that simply explain why all these latest innuendoes are being jabbed at them.

Yesterday, people were thrown into frenzy on the news that MTN now offer to some eligible subscribers (SIM) unlimited daily internet data for a paltry sum of N100 or N150.

But I want to tell you that as far as it is coming from MTN directly, you should take it with a pinch of salt as it is only in MTN voice that 500MB stands for unlimited data.

Don’t say I did not warn you! MTN’s has nothing like unlimited data in their business dairy and MTN data are always capped.

It is quite saddening that a company like MTN will always use the word unlimited data to deceive their loyal and unsuspecting subscribers; now tell me why people and government should stop dragging MTN to court.

I don’t even want to talk about the MTN recent SIM registration brouhaha, cos somebody that even reregistered his SIM a month ago is still getting message to go and update his MTN line again.

On a final note whether your SIM is eligible or not for the MTN latest and so-called daily unlimited data plan when you either dial *567*59# or *567*58#, you should bear in mind that it is not unlimited as being claimed by MTN but just a tiny 500MB will be given to you if you go ahead to subscribe.
