Does one have to show the total amount you need for your duration of study e.g 2 years masters will require SEK 167,400 (20 months x SEK 8,370) which is about #6.6M or you only have to show a minimum of 10 months SEK 83,700 (10 x SEK 8,370) which is about #3.3M to be given a resident permit ?

That is million of 83700 SEK ( 3.3 million naira ) In your personal account . They don't accept third party sponsor except you are married and using joint account with your partner.

You need a residence permit and a personal number to work in Sweden.
