Can any one help me out, i want to start learning how to write programs, i dowloaded the 'code block' IDE, but the problem i'm having now is on how to use it. I wrote a simple programm but i dont know how to use the ide to see if the program i wrote is working. Can anybody tell me how to use the ide. Also i downloaded the Dev c++ but any time i want to use it, i just keep getting an error message informing me that there is no GNU make file. Pls if u know how i can overcome these problems pls let me know.

I guess there is a missing link in the Dev C++ you downloaded,i think it will be much more better if you buy original copy,there you can see what is wrong,or get borland c++ compiler.
