There is an amazing Igbo village located in Staunton, Virginia, USA.
The Washington DC chapter of Anambra state association USA constructed the village to preserve the Igbos’ heritage.
Basil Okafor, one of the organizers of the village don informate sat the Sate of Virginia and US government recognize the Igbos as one of the early slaves wey settle inside Virginia.
The Igbo farm village as dem dey call am dey built with mud wey come make am become typical African home for America.
Okafor yarn say: “We don build ulo aja for America in a way wey he take dey for Igbo land to show our children here our cultural heritage.”
“In due time , we no go see these kind of houses for Igbo land and pipu go have to travel to United States to see we mud house.
