ABUJA (Defence Information Report) –

The attention of the Directorate of Defence Information was drawn to the headline in recent publications attributed to have been said by its Director, Rabe Abubakar (Brigadier General).

The report from Defence Information lately stated that Maigida W. M (Group Captain) on behalf of the Director of Defence Information described the headline as inciting and completely out of context, indicating that the Director of Defence Information never made such statement throughout the media interaction with the African Independent Television which invited him to shed light and sensitise Nigerians on the new antics of suicide bombers in the North East.

The Directorate of Defence Information added that the Nigerian Armed Forces will continue to be professional and guard the constitution and subordinate itself to the democratic governance of Nigeria. It solicited the cooperation and support of all Nigerians in the fight against terrorism and other allied criminal activities.

“We shall remain focused on protecting the lives and property of law abiding citizens,” the Defence Information stated.

He actually said so.
They found out that It is imposible for the military to achieve this great victory over boko haram with weak/substandard weapons as they have noticed and decided to dismiss the 'claim' to still hold a point on 'military will' to fight boko haram in this administration.
