'The Turks and Saudis know they will face humiliating defeat if they invade unless they can somehow "force" the US/NATO to come to the rescue of aggressors who support terrorists in a proposition where the US knows that Syria and Russia have already beat ISIS. Even the stupid greedy neocons in Washington can see that this is a gambit to get the US to do the fighting for these incompetent, corrupt cowards. The US government may be incompetent, corrupt and cowardly, but the people in military intelligence must be feeding the generals some very bad news: The Russians hold all the cards and they keep playing them exceptionally well.'

Russia prepares for any Turkish or Saudi surprises in Syria

With Turkey's ongoing shelling of Kurdish and Syrian forces, as well as several reports of Turkey sending mercenaries across the border in an attempt to stop SAA and Kurdish advances, it seems that Russia isn't taking any chances: Anticipating Ankara's next move is paramount.

According to the Aviationist, Russia has deployed its most advanced spyplane, the Tu-214R, to its airbase in Latakia:

The aircraft is known to carry sensor packages to perform ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) and SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) missions: the antennae of the Tu-214R can intercept the signals emitted by the enemy systems (radars, aircraft, radios, combat vehicles, mobile phones etc) so as it can build the EOB (Electronic Order of Battle) of the enemy forces: where the enemy forces are operating, what kind of equipment they are using and, by eavesdropping into their radio/phone communications, what they are doing and what will be their next move.
Excellent timing, especially since Turkey is beating the war drums:

The Russians are definitely not taking any chances. Saudi Arabia just began "North Thunder", a massive military exercise involving 20 nations.

If Turkish-Saudi threats turn into direct action in Syria, Russia will see it coming.

Yea! With ongoing shilling of kurdish PYD/YPG position(a kinda ally to assad), under the guise of being branch of PKK, and turkish attack on government position, plus plan to launch an air/ground offensive with her coalition of devilish cabals claiming to be going after ISIS.

There's no way russia will take chances, especially when assad has reiterated that their invasion will not go unconfront, and now that saudi is planning to send 8/10 jet fighters, with four F-16 to be sent to incirlik air base.

It is only apt that russia take extra measure to foil any show of stupidity from turkish and saudi blood sucking demons.
So! It's not much of a big deal. infact, I expect more from russia.

It is very abysmal and pitiable that the people of syria have to be embroiled in such execrable situate of selfish, religious and megalomaniacal leaders, fighting for religious righteousness, business interest under the facade of fighting for the massses, and flexing muscle on who is the strongest/greatest at the expense of syrian lifes.

I really feel sorry for them.

Edwinmason:
what is the role of U.S in this conflict

The role of USA in Syria is audible to the deaf & visible to the blind. They want the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad ousted by all means in order to replace him with their puppet who will then do their bidding by ensuring the oil pipelines project from Saudi-Arabia to Europe is carried out, in order to bring Russia to its knees by boycotting her oil in Europe.

Below are 4ways America is violently & hypocritically meddling in the Syrian war.

1. Heavy Arms to Rebels (i.e Daesh, ISIS)

The most direct form of American intervention is the flow of heavy arms to rebels in the south of Syria, where they control some territory.

In addition to the heavy arms, the U.S. is paying cash to Syrian rebel groups to pay fighters and for equipment. In recent months, the U.S. has dropped over $3 million toward anti-Assad Syrian groups.

These arms will accompany the heavier arms Saudi Arabia recently announced it would start giving to Syrian opposition forces.

2. U.S. Training

One of the first intervention moves the U.S. made was its decision to train Syrian rebels. Since late 2012, the CIA and U.S. special forces troops stationed in Jordan and Turkey have trained Syrian opposition forces. The training was started months before arms began to flow to the rebels.

In October 2013, the Washington Post reported the CIA was ramping up its efforts to train a few hundred Syrian fighters every month. (Note: These are Terrorists)

3. Non-Lethal Aid

In early 2013, the Obama administration announced it was sending $60 million in “non-lethal” aid to the Free Syrian Army in the form of food rations and medical supplies. In April 2013, the U.S. said it would double the amount of“non-lethal aid sent to Syria, which is meant in part to allow Syrian opposition forces to provide essential services on the ground in areas they control.

“This time, the non-lethal aid included things like communications equipment, vehicles and night-vision goggles. In other words, the kind of aid necessary for rebels to be lethal” Do these equipment look like non lethal aids to you? Whenever the US says A, just know that B is the answer. grin

4. Sanctions

The Obama administration froze all the assets of the Syrian government as a response to the armed force the government used on demonstrators. The U.S. has also prohibited “all new investment in Syria by a U.S. person, the provision of any U.S. services to Syria, and any transaction in or related to petroleum products of Syrian origin,” as Human Rights First explained.

In June 2013, the U.S. announcedit was easing the sanctions on rebel-controlled areas of Syria to facilitate the exports of commodities like technology and software, and for items relating to water sanitation, food processing and more.

We all know that the statement above is a blatant lie sold to the gullible US populace. This was exactly how they facilitated the shipment of chemical weapons from Muammar Ghaddafi's arsenal in Libya to the Syrian rebels (ISIS) who then used it in killing over 2000 civilians while blaming it on Bashar Al-Assad.

If not for my son (Vladimirovich Putin), Bashar Al-Assad would have been dining with Saddam Hussein & Muammah Ghaddafi in their graves by now.

1 thing is certain, if the AngloZionist Vampires are not careful, WW3 will definitely erupt from Syria and it will surely take humanity back to the stone age.

This is Y Albert Einstein said - “I know not with what weapons WW3 will be fought, but WW4 will be fought with sticks & stones” grin

Assad is acting too soft, as a sovereign nation anyone who invades your country without your express permission simply wants a fight. Give it to them
