Hello, I have concrete proof that the total filling station opposite nnpc towers are stealing from people. They adjusted their pump and I want the public to know and also have them brought to justice.
They adjusted their pump, and I know this for a certainty because I drive a Nissan Altima with a 75liter tank that fills up with about 6500 naira. I filled my tank on Saturday but my fuel guage stopped working lately so I decided to fill it up again today expecting to pay no more than 1500 or 2000. The minute I checked the pump to see than it was zero Naira on it I decided to check something on my phone and in less than 3 minutes I looked up at it was already 7500 with 87 liters which is impossible because that was more than my tank could possibly take. I accused the guy selling, got out to be sure he didn't pump it in any gallon and when I saw that it all went in my tank I told him their pump was adjusted and he didn't say anything. Please I want this to stop, I want them brought to justice for stealing from unsuspecting Nigerians.

OP are u just aware of this? That's how they sell fuel in most of the filling stations. How do you expect the fuel attendant to get t_fare when he/she gets peanut as salary. Even you too rikkyb do you live only on ur salary or normal income? Am very sure their is a way by which you get extra income. Corruption is everywhere! Where you work that's where you chop. OP, Old Nissan Altima always have dis problems: constantly Changing of Fuel Pump, irregularity of Fuel Guage, Quench and Stop due to Relay.
I bet is ur fuel gauge that's playing tricks on U. Take it to d Mech for repair. Goodluck

Nope. Not really. All Total fuel stations sell with adjusted pumps

fame33 you should read properly before commenting, i said my fuel tank takes only 75liters and at half tank they sold me 87 liters, what does that have top do with mechaanic, i am a thorough person i hate to get cheated if the rest of you don't. @ sammyashol if you steal or commit other kinds of fraud to add to your salary you should keep it to yourself because news flash not all nigerians are thieves. I live solely on my salary and nobody has an excuse to steal because their salary is low.

Transport allowance
House allowance
Electricity
Wardrobe e.t.c when u add all this together its something tangible but those attendant only live on the basic salary, no additional benefits earning peanut @ d end of the month.


Now back to the matter almost every filling station adjust their pump. I was in ur shoe before complaining day by day and the management never resolve the issue, it even got to a stage that i only buy fuel in kegs. To cut the story short i later gave up. Buying it d way others do when i have no option.
