Heard Manu Garbu was offered the golden eaglets job be he declined to take the offer, sources say he's aggrieved...

Manu Garba's Eaglets were more consistent and exciting than Amuneke's both won their tournaments.
For the sake of continuity, Garba was promoted with his boys to U-20 but with all the array of talent he scouted and built he was at a lose at the U-20. He just didn't grow enough run the show at that level even with the boys he groomed over three yrs.
now that Amuneke has repeated Garba's fit at U-17, should be allowed to grow with them and show if he can bring back that elusive U-20. Its a good move by NFF.
If Sia Sia can do well in the Olympics with his U-23 this summer, he would be in line to replace Oliseh should Oliseh fail to improve and deliver the results because a large pool of young players are emerging from the last 2 sets of Successful Eaglets and Flying Eagles and U-23 Eagles. this young hungry youth Champions will be easier to manage than the last rebelling generation that sabotage Sia Sia in 2011. Sia Sia would style of attacking football which Manu Garba's Eaglet played in 2013 and in the African U-20 Nations Cup last can be built on.
I wish to see Nduka Ugbade as the next U-17 coach. He is very technically sound and good in scouting.
Manu Garba may have to wait a little and take time to build himself up for the future S.Eagles job since age is still in his favour.

Nice one..
Nduka Ugbade may be technically sound, yes i agree, and also may be very in scouting, i do not dispute that.. But coaching is a whole different ball game all together, does he hv the right temperament to relate with those chaps at that age grade? To be short, i doubt he has all the ingredients to succeed with that team, IMO, he should remain an analyst, a scout and probably work from the background or on the bench at most...

Manu Garba for the super eagles job in the future? Well, anything is possible and only change is constant. But going by what we saw and judging from his performance with the last U-20 side (Flying Eagles), he just doesn't hv it... Not refined enough to be @ the top, lacks the technical know how, typical African mentality of high handedness to instill discipline which in this age is crude... Look bro, with the array of stars and quality of players @ his disposal in that tournament he had no reason whatsoever, no excuse at all to fail, he got it all wrong from the word go... So i beg to differ he could manage the super eagles but like i said, change is constant and anything is possible.. If he upgrades and the opportunity avails then i can only wish him luck..

This is my own 2 cent.

Good one but I would have liked it more if he was penciled to take over from Oliseh.
Let him bring us the U20 world cup and the job is his.

We are in agreement on his abilities in the seniors levels hence, i said he should go and build himself up for that level in the future...

I am nervous about his ability to succeed in a short time to restore confidence in us and the players. On a long term, if we can afford the patience to wait he might to succeed. His lack coaching experience is why he is struggling. He has passion and enthusiasm for the team, his in intelligent, European Coaching licence holder but experience is his challenge.
If you look at the crop of young players coming through and playing well in European clubs at the moment, the next 3yrs could see Nigeria doing the 90's S.Eagles success, but again it will depend on quality management of the players and team.

Sentiments shared...
But yu know as well as i do, that we lack patience and continuity as a people.... Patience here with Oliseh is very key, coz even if yu bring a Mourinho to manage the SE's now or a Pep Guardiola, truth is they'll struggle too..
Like yu mention, he has the ingredients, his shortcoming now as it is, is his inexperience...

I really do hope he'll get it right with time, the future is very bright for us.
