THE REPENTANT NINEVITES NOW OR NEVER OR ELSE!!!?

So, If you were given an assignment to go to SAMBISA FOREST to go tell the TRUTH to BOKO HARAM, a band of killers, who have killed your friends, family members, destroyed your home, your village, made you become desolate, a destitude, IDP, Internally Displaced Person.

WOULD YOU ACCEPT SUCH A TASK This is similar to the assignment given to one of God's prophets called Prophet JONAH as named in the Bible, an Israelite. In the Quran he is called by Prophet YUNUS (A.S) so also as ZUN-NUN (meaning: Companion of the fish)

TO JONAH THE LORD SPOKE SAYING:
"Go to Nineveh, that GREAT CITY, and preach to it, that its
WICKEDNESS rises before ME". Book of Jonah 1:1
But what did Prophet Jonah do? He proceeded to get up and run away. In TRUTH, that was a 'REBELIOUS ACT' by a Servant and a Prophet against his LORDS's command which he himself wasn't IGNORANT about the fact that he was DISOBEYING God's order.

BUT, CAN ANYBODY RUN AWAY FROM THE DOMINION OF THE
LORD OF THE WORLDS?
Jonah ran away for two reasons:
1. FEAR OF THE NINEVITES' BRUTALITY AND CRUELTY. A WICKED PEOPLE.
2. HIS HOPE FOR VENGENCE FOR ISRAEL AGAINST THE NINEVITES BY GOD. THIS HE THOUGHT HE COULD ACHIEVE BY DENNYING THE NINEVITES GOD'S WARNING OF HIS PUNISHMENT TO COME.

Nineveh was the Capital City of Assyria and not only was
Assyria the most powerful empire in that day, IT WAS ALSO
RUTHLESSLY VIOLENT with its conqured enemies. Israel soon
too entered Assyria's path of destruction and so it was
UNLIKELY that an Israelite as Jonah, would have accepted such a task to go preach to those who RUTHLESSLY OPRESSED Israel, his home land. He was hoping that if he denies them of God's message and they keep up with their WICKEDNESS IN
IGNORANCE, God is going to eventually destroy them. And that way God would have helped in REVENGING on behalf of Israel for the ATTROCITIES committed by the Assyrians against his people, the Israelites.

To Jonah, they are 'SINNERS' that deserved no REDEMPTION.
But to God, His Mercy is OVERFLOWING. He is concern that all people, Jews and Gentiles alike come to know and worship
Him.

"..... Jonah finally came down to Joppa and found a ship going
to Tar'shish......" Book of Jonah 1 : 2
But, The Exalted, The King, The only Reality, The Compassionate, The Merciful. There is no god but HE, The Lord of the Throne of Honour, sent a great storm upon the sea, so that the ship in which Jonah was seemed as though it would go to pieces.

The sailors threw overboard everything on the ship; and when
the could do no more, every man prayed to his demi
gods,idols which they had fashioned after their own fantasies,
to save the ship and themselves from calamity that seems to
befall them.

While the inhabitants of the ship were all terrified by the great
storm. Jonah knowing fully well that he was running away from God's command, had gone down to the innermost part of the decked vessel and was fast asleep.

The ship's captain came to Jonah in the decked vessel, very
SURPRISED and said: "What do you mean by sleeping in such a time as this?" (My guy, get up jare) and call upon your god,
perhaps he will hear you and save our lives"

All those on board including the ship's captain worship other
than the True God, The Lord of the Great Throne of Honor. So,
the ship's captain not knowing Jonah as an Israelite persuaded him to call on his own god, idol too just as they have all been praying to their unique idols.
But the storm continued to rage around the ship,
And they began to say to one another: "come and let us cast
lots, that we may know on whose account we have this
calamity".

That was infact a SUPERSITOUS BELIEF by men whose religion
was idolatory, paganism. But there is a great lesson to learn as you read further.And the kept casting lots, and finally the lot fell upon Jonah.

The Quran also relates the story of Prophet Jonah, Prophet
Yunus, Zun-nun as thus:
"SO ALSO WAS JONAH AMONG THOSE SENT (BY US). WHEN HE
RAN AWAY (LIKE A SLAVE FROM CAPTIVITY) TO THE SHIP (FULLY) LADEN, HE (AGREED TO) CAST LOTS, AND HE WAS CONDEMNED. Quran 37 : 139 - 141.
A great lesson is that if you forsake God. You have no shield
against sorcery, magic, vodoo, juju, jinns, evil spirits, witch
craft or any other evil artistry which may be devised inorder to inflict harm on you. Jonah had forsaken God and so, the lots being casted by art of idolatory, the fact being that those who casted the lots were pagans and though by God's Will and Plan it fell upon Jonah.

"THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER; THE RIGHTEOUS RUN TO IT AND ARE GIVEN PROTECTION" Proverbs 18 : 10 .

Jonah wasn't running to God for saftey but away from God by
his act of disobedience.
"GOD IS THE PROTECTOR OF THOSE WHO HAVE FAITH:..." Quran

So, after the lots which the casted had fallen on Jonah, they said to him: Do tell us, please on whose account we are having this calamity? What is your work, and from where do you come from? What is your country and from which people are you?

Jonah did not LIE in his response to them which is another
lesson we must all learn. TELLING LIES IS COWARDICE. Though
he had behaved cowardly be running away because of fear of
the Ninevites but this time he was BRAVE enough to telling the
TRUTH so that the consequence of his wrong-doing becomes
he's alone to bear and not having to share it with those who are innocent of the wrong he had committed.
To be a LIAR, simple means you are SICK in the mind and with
small balls to cap your IDIOCITY.

JONAH did not lie, because God's choosen servants such as
prophets do not tell LIES. Except LIES are mostly invented
against them by blasphemers.
"I am a Hebrew he said to them and from the presence of the
Lord i am FLEEING, the One who made the sea and the dry land" The men on hearing that he is Hebrew, they began to fear because the have an idea about the God that has always
protected Israel. They said: "what is this you have done? And
what should we do to you inorder that the sea may become still for us?"

And Jonah told them that he should be hurled into the sea
because he is aware that it is on his account that this great
tempest is upon them. BUT, WICKED SOULS, LIKE NIGERIANS
WILL BE LOOKING FOR INNOCENT PEOPLE TO PULL DOWN
ALONG WITH THEM. ITS THE WICKEDNESS IN YOUR COUNTRY
THAT IS CHOKING YOU ALL TILL DATE. WON'T YOU PRACTICE
LOVE AND NOT HATE IT TAKES ONLY SINCERITY, HONESTY,
INTEGRITY TO MOVE YOUR COUNTRY FOWARD.

They men on board firstly showed Jonah some HUMAN
SYMPATHY which is lacking in our today's world. They didn't
IMMEDIATELY heed to his advice. Instead the soughted out
other means, to work their way through, inorder to bring the
ship back to dry land. Which proved impossible, because the
sea was continously growing tempestuous against them.
At this juncture, they proceeded to call on the One True Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and all that Exist and is yet to exist. They were starting to turn BELIEVERS.
"We pray Thee O! Lord, we pray Thee, let us not die for this
man's life, for thou, O Lord hast done as it pleases Thee"
And then, they lifted Jonah which he himself willingly accepted without any wrangling, hurled him into the sea; and the sea began to halt from his raging. At that the men who were unbelievers became to believe in the True God and they offered a sacrifice to Him as their willing SUBMISSION to the LORD OF THE WORLDS, because they are witness to His great sign, what else if not to turn a BELIEVER.

So, after Jonah was hurled into the sea, God caused a great fish to swallow up Jonah: "Then the BIG FISH did swallow him, and HE HAD DONE ACTS WORTHY OF BLAME. But we cast him forth on the Unclad shore in state of being ill, and caused to grow over him, a spreading plant of the Gourd kind". Quran 37: 142-146.

Not only did God not cause Jonah NOT to die in the belly of the big fish, He was Merciful to him. God answered his SINCERE OUT-CRY because before he committed his act of WRONG doing. Jonah has been a servant of God that is full of gratitude to his Lord at all times by always remembering His favours upon him and he is full of adoring the Lord of the worlds. God in His infinite MERCY even provided for Jonah sustenance from the Gourd tree after the fish vomited him.
Someone may say: "THIS IS TRASH, WHAT A TALE".
Well I won't be surprised because the same people are they
ones who are having ANAL SEX and do not see anything wrong
in it. How do you explain to such people who have left the
JUICE for the WOES.

Turn to God, we sick people. God is Compassionate, Merciful
to those who SINCERELY turn to Him in Penitence.
IF NIGERIANS SINCERELY REPENT, AMEND, GOD IS OFT-
FORGIVING, MOST MERCIFUL. I DON'T KNOW ANY OTHER
SOLUTION TO A COUNTRY SUCH AS NIGERIA THAT HAS BECOME HABITUAL LIARS AND SO WICKEDLY RELIGIOUSLY HYPOCRITICAL PEOPLE OTHER THAN FOR A COMPLETE INTROSPECTION AND A RENEWAL OF CHARACTER FROM BAD TO GOOD THROUGH THE FEAR OF GOD. TURN FROM YOUR INSINCERITY TO SINCERITY. ALL IT TAKES IS
INDIVIDUAL EFFORT, THE WILLINGNESS TO PRURIFY ONE'S SOUL.

"And remember Zun-nun (Jonah), when he departed in wrath:
HE IMAGINED THAT WE HAD NO POWER OVER HIM! But cried
through the depths of darkness, 'THERE IS NO GOD BUT THOU:
GLORY TO THEE: I WAS INDEED WRONG!' So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: AND THUS DO WE DELIVER THOSE WHO HAVE FAITH". Quran 21: 87 - 88.

It is up to us to sincerely CRY YOUR TEARS to the
Lord of the worlds, so that He comes to the rescue as He
rescued Jonah despite having done acts worthy of blame. God
still saved him from DISGRACE because he accepted his
WRONG DOING and REPENTED.

"Had not Grace from His Lord reached him (Jonah), he would
indeed have been cast off on the Unclad shore, IN DISGRACE.
Thus, did his Lord choose him and make him of the company
of the RIGHTEOUS" Quran 68 : 49-50.

Now, to the people of Nineveh who earned the title : THE
PEOPLE OF JONAH, for their TOTAL SUBMISSION to the message which Jonah had brought to them
Jonah walked through the city crying out the same WARNING.
"Within 40 days shall Nineveh be destroyed"

And the people of Nineveh believed the word of the Lord as
spoken by Prophet Jonah, Prophet Yunus (A.S) , Zun-nun
(companion of the fish). They turned away from their sins and
fasted and sought the Lord from the greatest of them, the king
of Nineveh to the least of them, slaves and little children. Even their domesticated animals were made to fast by denying them food as an act of showing that every living thing in Nineveh has TRUELY, TRUELY turn to God.
And God saw the people of Nineveh were sorry for their
WICKEDNESS, and He FORGAVE them and did not DESTROY the
city.

"And We sent him (Jonah on a mission) to a HUNDRED
THOUSAND (people of Nineveh) or more. And they believed so
We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while" Quran 37 :
147- 148.

ITS ALL ABOUT CHOICE NOT BY FORCE, FOR NIGERIA TO
PROSPER OR CONTINUE ON THE PATH OF RUINATION. BLOODY
LIARS WE BETTER COME CLEAN.
