A Lagos State Chopper with registration number 5N-RRS just did a test land on the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) facility in Ikeja, Lagos. Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode will soon roll out a Medical Emergency Response initiative for a city with more than 25 million persons. The chopper landed at the emergency unit of the hospital facility. A source who was on-board the chopper reveals that the test land is in preparation for medical emergency response; meaning choppers will be used for medical emergencies in Lagos henceforth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GscxnWItYUw#action=share 2 Likes

Good development if true. But first off they need to cut down that tree in the background so that the pilot can see his landing spot. Also they need to paint a giant 'H' on the landing spot for the same reason. But that helicopter looks like the RRS ones he commissioned a while ago. |

Ambode is doing wonders, these are really interesting initiatives. Started poorly but improving by the day, Kudos to you my Governor. If we can have consistently progressive innovations like this, one will wake up one day and realize Lagos has turned to New York overnight. |
