I was online looking for OJB Jezreel's "I Believe" song off his "Jigga World" album and somehow I stumbled on what was then the biggest hip hop collaboration in Nigeria. I'm talking of Nutty Pin's "Living it up". This reminded me of the likes of Def o Clan, Thoroughbreds, Swat Root, Trybesmen, Komoblastic etc. The time when Naija hip hop wasn't about "the way you whine", "the way she shake" and chanting gibberish |
