dont know if this is the right category to post this but it is with great pain in our hearts that we the students of imo state university and the people living in owerri live daily.

Sachet water (commonly known as pure water) has automatically catapulted to N20 per sachet and N200 and N150 respectively for a bag since the past few days now, owning to the strike of water producers for reasons not yet known. As of/at the time of sharing this with my fellow nairalanders, Even to see the water to buy is a problem.

From what i saw and heard, some water producing companies only load their van, sneak out at night and supply to very few store owners at an auction price (highest bidding about N150) who inturn sell to students and local buyers at N20 per sachet and N200 for a bag.
