My father almost broke my head and I held his shirt in reflex, all hell broke loose. He said I fought him and torn his shirt, well, the shirt is still in his ward rope since four years now.
He's keeping it and showing everybody that cares to see, I told him to just open a museum and show cast it, that will fetch him money. undecided

He was about hitting my head hard on the ground in fact, he did but my reflex was what saved me and I mistakenly held his shirt at the collar and it torn, I should have sat down there like a ram? undecided

Now, It is reflex going by this your narrative. I opined base on what you initially asserted, which didn't give indepth knowledge on the actual scenario.

He was never there for me emotionally when I needed him the most, but its cool though cos I've turned out fine without him.
