so what happened to your manufacturing line for 40yrs? I repeat you dont manufacture them. You will definitely see grin

English clubs suffered a set-back when there was an European ban for 5 years.
Even with that, UEFA generally hated English clubs for their hooliganism and arrogance.
I dunno how Thierry Henry missed the award in 2004. . . . . .He was phenomenal that season.

Sauron,
Huntelaar appears to be on his way to Stuttgart.
http://au.sports.yahoo.com/football/news/article/-/5718027/real-advanced-talks-huntelaar-sale

That site is dodgy. . . . .gimme a site in Europe.

And Berba looks to be gone,
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1198799/Football-Manchester-United-plan-Dimitar-Berbatov-exchange-bid-land-55m-Atletico-Madrid-ace-Sergio-Aguero.html

Ridiculous. . . . . .
Ferguson will never let Berbatov go just like that. He loves Dimitar to the core.
Aguero is not even worth 35 milla. . . . . .never mind 50!!!
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by Nobody: 3:39pm On Jul 10, 2009
The site may be dodgy, but I've heard that rumour before, last week in fact.
I'm not making any comments on the stories.Just what i saw relating to United.

Sir Alex is really trying to crack something after the exits of Ronaldo/Tevez.

Nani and Anderson have a BIG season ahead of them. . . . .
Now that Ronaldo is gone, Carrick and Anderson would support the attack more rather than staying deep to always clean up Ronaldo's mess.
Valencia will attack and track back. . . .less burden for our central midfielders.

Can.that.happen? Berba.for.Aguero? After.buyin.him.for.that.huge.pile.of.money?.

Well. .I.told.myself.never.to.be.surprised.with.anything.in.football.again. Football.is.entertainment. The.transfers.season.is.the.core.of.it. So.anything.can.happen!.

But.I.wont.mind.Aguero.though. .but.maybe.not.at.the.expense.of.Berba. I.kinda.love.his.'laziness'. .
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by Nobody: 3:54pm On Jul 10, 2009
me thinks we need a midfielder more than ever. attacking/central midfielder.

Valencia has to be thrown into the thick of the action immediately.it's in the middle i have my worries.

We are well covered in the midfield.
Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher, Hargreaves and Gibson.

Madrid agree Huntelaar sale: Huntelaar to make decision after Stuttgart approach accepted
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11835_5424611,00.html

I suspect the guy would try to delay things, hoping for Milan to fail in their Fabiano bid, as he is said to be their second option.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by DrKitaun(m): 5:06pm On Jul 10, 2009
is this HUNTELAAR okay at all ?

Stuttgart of all teams shocked shocked

Fergie should sign this striker for 18 million. . . . .

Huntelaar is a mediocre.
That's why he appears to have chosen Stuttgart.

u mean Sharon is stupid for coveting this player called HUNTELAAR ? shocked shocked grin
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by Nobody: 5:44pm On Jul 10, 2009
doc,
No.Rather shocked he'd choose stuttgart over United.
Thought he was highly rated.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by biina: 5:45pm On Jul 10, 2009
Its madrid that has agreed, I doubt the player has agreed yet.
I doubt ManU has made a qualifying bid, else they would be prominent in the running.

Won't say Hunt is a mediocre & the report hasn't said anything about him wanting to go to Stuttgart; all that's been said is RM have agreed a fee with Stuttgart and the deal is resting on the player's agreement.

I never given much to the lad, but of late I've really yearned to have him dorn UTD color's not cuz I think he's fantastic but cuz I feel he's decent enough and thats the UTD I want to see next season. . . .  a team of decent players, no superstars, no big-money buys!
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by RuuDie(m): 5:49pm On Jul 10, 2009
Aguerro for Berba + cash. . . . that'd be absurd - I'd take Berba's languid approach play anyday, anytime!
