After running low on sales for almost a week, I decided to try one of the tricks I learnt from my numerous fiverr e-books.
I approached top sellers in my niche and messaged them, asking them to outsource some of their works to me. When applying take note of the following;
1. Introduce yourself
2. Tell them why they should hire you
3. Tell them you are ready to work for them for free as a sample so they can test your prowess before hiring. (I offered to write 2 articles of 500 words free)
4. Be courteous and brief. Those guys get lots of message and hardly read them.


if you're in article niche i recommend kate_morgan, she's good and replies fast. She even asks you to send a custom offer for your sample.
BE WARNED, that girl knows her job, she rejected mine because I had 3 sentences that were over 2 lines long (later got to know a sentence should not be more than two lines, readers get bored after a sentence continues to the third line)
If you are able to land one TRS, you may never need to visit Buyer Request again, so take it as serious as you can.

I have nothing against Buyer request, as a matter of fact, I used to visit there almost everyday, till I discovered my goldmine.

Since I wasn't getting enough repeat buyers as I wanted from BR, I began applying another trick I learnt from another e-Book.

I searched the gigs of TRS and looked at her reviews. What was I looking for?? I looked at their reviews to see who left more than 1 or 2 reviews( this automatically tells you they are potential repeat clients). I tried to check their profile if they could be messaged. If i could message them, I left a simple and polite message telling them I wanted to be their personal writer. (This is the most stressful but more rewarding way of getting steady sales).
Out of maybe a 100 I checked per say (Yes, I sometimes searched more than 100 a day), I could only message 10 or at most 20. Out of these 10 or 20, maybe 8 or 15 replied and out of this, I landed at least half of them.
This guys don't get scared of being billed if you know your job ( if you are thinking you are good at writing because you have read Brighter Grammar from cover to cover, this is not for you. Those guys have been used to top notch writings so except you know your onions well, or you are okay with getting 3 or 2 stars with very hurtful review, stay out of these guys way)

Was I successful with this, well I can say so, for over a week, I haven't had use of BR and never had less than 2-3 orders in queue. At a time I was peaking 6-7 orders in queue per day and if you know your job, you can get tipped 5* more than the order amount.

So if you know your job, you can take a break from buyer request and try this.

Now, I only visit Buyer request when I have 1 or 2 orders in queue or when I'm bored or want to go and read gemini86 request.

2. All I know is my 60% paypal receives my funds between $2,000 and below every month.

3. Since u verified with only email and US phone number, there is no way you can withdraw directly to your local bank account and that's where a local exchanger comes in. Coupled with free internet, I have all the rest of the day to surf the net) so instead of watching YouTube videos and while away on whatsapp or LinkedIn, I decided to read about anything writing and learnt some rather funny rules in writing.

In summary, all i learnt can be summed up in "You can flaunt all the rules of writing, but you have to master them enough to be able to flaunt them and still make sense"
When I applied all the rules I learnt, not only did I stop getting modification request but my clients began to tip better.

I used buyer's request last week and got 3 orders from 5 requests. Upwork has taught me so much on bidding.
I hardly use buyer's request as I have gotten about 3 repeat customers almost on a daily basis that I have to reject work at times. I don't believe that article niche is dry. If you're good, work will be too much for you to handle.

I think I wasted my time already giving those details above. It's best you stick to ur exchangers to help withdraw ur funds.

The stress is high for me, not really from article but from personal stuffs.

The only ish I have is my eyes, it reacts to bright light very easily and lately I've had to look at bright light from my PC and phone( due to both being bad) for almost 18hrs a day. I'm hoping to get some computer glasses by the week.


I raised my delivery time to 2days when I couldn't handle 24 hours delivery any longer so handling my orders is pretty easy

I don't know the last time I had a full day rest ( 8-5 Mon to Friday at work and 11-6 on Saturdays at training plus church activity filled Sunday combines to make me satisfied with 3-4 hour sleep per day ) Used to it already so it doesn't seem a big deal to me
