While most people are on Facebook to genuinely connect and interact with friends and family, there are some that are there to post spam messages and tag people unnecessarily. One of my friend was tagged in a pornographic picture some time ago, and it was so embarrassing. Facebook provides options that gives you control over this kind of Facebook users, but most people don't know it. A few minutes of digging into the privacy settings for your account can stop this behavior and help you take total control over how your profile appears to others. On the web Log into your Facebook account, Click the caret icon on the top right of Facebook, and choose Settings.

On Mobile
Tap/Click the menu icon, and scroll to Account
Settings , Tap/Click on it.

On the settings page, click Timeline and Tagging . From the Timeline and Tagging page you will be able to set; Who can add things to Your timeline, Who can see things on Your timeline, and How you can manage tags people add and tagging suggestions . There is an option that says Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline? . Set this option to On . Now when someone tags you on Facebook, you will be notified to approve it before everyone can see it.....now you know..
