SKILLSTRAIN PROJECT AFRICA GOES LIVE 20 OCTOBER Luton, UK – 06 October 2006: Skillstrain Project Africa is an initiative from the leading UK based training company Skillstrain. The Project provides Live Internet Training, completely free of charge, to previously disadvantaged schools in South Africa. Myra Smallman, project coordinator, said, “We are very excited about the number of schools that have already applied for inclusion in the Project. “We have also had interest from education authorities in South Africa and we aim to go LIVE with the project later this month”. LIVE Internet training means that children can interact with teachers thousands of miles away – teachers can use whiteboards in schools. It brings a UK school into a South African school. Schools need to apply as soon as possible, but certainly by 20 October 2006. Applications can be made directly via the Skillstrain Project Africa web site which can be found at: http://www.skillstrain-online.com/projectafrica Skillstrain Project Africa providing the most powerful tool empowering youngsters – EDUCATION |
