No fewer than 222 cultists have publicly renounced cultismin Edo and Delta State. 43 were reported to have renounced at the Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Epkoma, while 179 others renounced at Ozoro Polytechnic, OgwashiUku, Asaba, Delta State. Two suspected cultists were also on Thursday arrested by thepolice at the University town Ekpoma for allegedly recruiting some studentsinto their cult group.
