How else do you want to cure myopia other than to visit an eye specialist(OPTOMETRIST),or do you want self medication,of course you know the consequenses! |

Make time and see your optometrist as soon as possible,because you need to undergo a lot of eye tests,which will determine your visual status before any treatment can be given.Pls know that wrong/inadequate/uncorrected refractive error can lead to blindness,see WHO bulletin of Jan 2008.If you do not correct it early it might lead to low vision which is close to blindness.Optometrists are trained for six (6) yrs in the university on the eye and visual system,they go for a year internship and also a year youth service ie NYSC.OPTOMETRISTS SEE YOU FIRST AND IF NEED BE FOR SURGERY REFER YOU TO AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST. Please make sure you see your optometrists NOW before it is too late. |
