Veteran Nollywood actor, Olumide Bakare who was diagnosed with heart and lungs disease has been discharged from the hospital.

The actor was admitted at the University Teaching Hospital on January 2 after being reported to be critically ill.

In his interview with city people, Olumide spoke on the origin of his ailment. “It has started since 2013 but it wasn’t as bad as it is now. We have treated it but you know things like this don’t go easily.”

The veteran actor has starred in over 50 movies since his debut in the Nollywood industry.
