The Nigerian army has re-opened every major highway linking Maiduguri, Borno, with other parts of the country after the routes were closed for three years due to attacks by Boko Haram.

The Chief of Army, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, made the announcement at the launch of the Army Combat Motor Bike Battalion in Damboa, the headquarters of Damboa local government area of the state.

Buratai said the army would work towards securing the lives and properties of motorists in the northeast.

And they say BUHARI is not winning the war. If you have the disease we call 'wailerosis' (that's inability to be discerning and having partial or acute blindness) , you must find a reason not to celebrate anything like this report.
