What stops that guy from being prosecuted for child trafficking and rape? He is a paedophile, for heaven's sake! How about their religious council chairman, who has been shielding the guy, what stops him from being tried as an accomplice?

Ese's parents should also be caned for not watching over their daughter. Also, the Inspector General of Police, Arase, saying the girl's release depends on persons shows he is scared and powerless. Maybe he should step down from that exalted office if he cannot enforce Nigeria's laws.

The Kano Emir, for all I care, is complicit in this, too. He even referred to the girl, Ese, as Aisha. What madness! If he really wanted that girl released he would have done it without moving a finger. As for "Madam due process", it seems she is more interested in white-washing the Kano Emir, that the release of the girl.

But, of course, the laws in this nation apply only to southerners, who have moved from majority of their barbaric cultures to more civilized ones. Go have sexual dealings with a seventeen-and-a-half-year old girl in Southern Nigeria and you'll see the police baring their fang, making sure you rot in jail's hell.

This country don tire me, I can't lie. I thought this was a civil issue, why the politics? Is it not an ordinary _aboki, probably a suya roaster who kidnapped her? I don't see how someone royally connected would travel far and wide to kidnap a girl when I'm sure his potential wife/wives have already been arranged.
