How To Take Advantage Of The Current Economic Situation by olumy05(m): 1:54pm On Feb 29, 2016
Whie some have continued to see only the negative effects of the fall in oil price and the rise in the value of the dollars against the naira, some smart guys are taking advantage of the situation. They have started to think strategically and trying to find the oppourtunity inherent in the present economic situation of the country. A chinese proverbs says "Beside every challenges lies the solution".
So what's this gist about?
1. It is about positioning yourself to take advantage of the current economic situation.
2. Guess what? You need to start thinking outside the box! I bet you, in the next two years, new millionaire will emerge as a result of the government response to the current economic situation.
How did I know this ?
# The restriction on importation will bring about the emergence of new small and medium enterprises and the strenghtening and survival of existing SME's.
# There will be tax incentives for made in Nigeria products and the same tax policy will be used to discourage importers of some items.
So my champaign popping guys, it is either you are ready to pay double the price of champaign or you look for local substitutes.
Come to think of it; who says you cannot start your own juice production?
Think strategically!
