From the story, the men bought the fuel in jerrycans and somehow, it exploded in their vehicle. shocked

We are all guilty of buying fuel in jerrycans, mostly for generator use. So if this story is true, this can actually happen to anybody.

May their souls rest in perfect peace.

So how do we fuel our generators

It has to do with APC because the APC Government is responsible for the scarcity of Fuel currently being experienced in the country.
If the supply of PMS was adequate, these touts wouldn't be carrying fuel all about to sell.

How many more will die because of Buhari's archaic economics methodologies ? When we had a sane person as President, we had reasonable electricity and there was near-zero PMS scarcity, and as such, people went not roasted.

PMS - rubber, hot car engine under 30 something degree heat.. Reciepe for disaster.

Baroba's recommendation

Track and shutdown filling stations selling ⛽, diesel kerosene to anyone with plastic containers..

The only recommended container should be the one below and nothing else..

Unfortunately, Nigeria no care..

It is becoming rather annoying at how convenient people find it to blame PMB for every thing. One Nairalander said ; "I blame PMB for encouraging black market by not making PMS available ".
In a Country where there's black market for everything, how is it PMB's fault that people chose to play with their lives by loading fuel in Jerry cans?

Na God dey save person. Nobody is owing the fuel marketers yet they decided to hoard fuel. Yesterday I had to buy Black market cos the fuel station just decided to close shop even after increasing the price to 120 naira.

I asked why the fuel was scarce. They only said "No fuel". Nobody owes them. They just decided they wanted more profit.

The average Nigerian is even a worse thief than our politicians. Very wicked people.

We Nigerians are the issues facing ourselves, no government is going to come to the streets. Lots of filling stations got fuel but would prefer selling to the "black marketers" just cuz of extra cash those people pay them. Nigerians would jump at any lil opportunity to milk he's fellow country man yet we scream no to corruption from the leaders when an average citizen is already thinking of how to milk his brother. Change starts with each and everyone of us.

Like you voted for the change truly.... Is this happening in nigeria for the first time

What the heck?

What kind of hypocritical fuckery is this. Are you saying only black marketers buy petrol with jerry cans? Is there light in the heat?
won't people fuel their gen sets? Black market only happens during scarcity. Period!!!

IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR? THAT THE GOVERNMENT ENSURES THAT WE HAVE FUEL? IS THAT TOO MUCH? SHOULD WE ALWAYS BLAME THE VICTIM?
