Thief caught in gov’s bedroom Adamu Amadu, Dutse Wednesday, July 15, 2009 A thief was caught in the bedroom of the Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido, who is on official trip to Italy and China. http://odili.net/news/source/2009/jul/15/604.html advertisement The suspect was later identified as a member of State Security Service (SSS) attached to the house on duty at the Government House. Report from the state indicated that the security officer (name withheld) at around 3:00 am last Sunday was caught after he allegedly stole textile materials from the governor’s bedroom. A source close to the Government House told the Nigerian Tribune that the accused was first sighted by the governor’s steward who later reported him to the other security men in the house. When contacted, the director of Press to the Governor, Malam Muhammad Sani Jibirin, confirmed the story. He said: “A member of the security personnel attached to the house was caught stealing items at the house.” Jibirin said the suspect had been handed over to the police for further investigation. |

Attached to the house of governor, so he is not a thief, just doing his rounds. The guy wants a piece of the state's cake in the room of the governor. |

A thief begets a thief. Security man is watching how billions is disappearing into thin air and then decides to commence an investigation to identify where Mr Thin air resides. |

I thought this was tautology, I thought the thief was caught in his own bedroom rather than in another one's bedroom. |
Re: Thief Caught In Gov’s Bedroom by vigasimple(m): 10:43pm On Jul 15, 2009 |
stolen money in govt house. Govt security agent in governors house in a govt property trying to steal governor's property that the governor has stolen from the people including the sss guy, so what is the problem? Remember Barkin suwo former governor of kano state in the second republic. Thief steal am, thief carry am. The guy must have seen his boss stashing away millions on weekly basis, and he didn't want to die of abject poverty. |

Or was it the governor who was in the thief's bedroom? Is there much difference between the governor and the thief? Yes? One is more efficient than the other at stealing. |
