I know many people will disagree with me on this assertion, on the premise that "when the head is rotten, the body cannot function properly". Yes, many of us are of the opinion that Buhari is to blame and not the non-performing Ministers since they take orders from him.

It is so glaring that Mr. President is totally out of tune with the workings of Nigerian economy, hence his actions and/or inactions have brought us into a serious economic debacle.

However, it is obvious that President Buhari appointed most of his ministers with the hope that they will help him bridge the knowledge gap on how to manage the nation's economy. For instance, the appointment of Chief Babatunde Raji Fashola with three powerful portfolios - Works, power and Housing is an indication that President Buhari has much trust in him owing to what he did in Lagos State as a Governor. Buhari therefore expects Fashola to use his experience and expertise especially in the area of infrastructural development to transform the country by introducing new ideas/ technical know-how in those sectors. This can be likened to what Idiagbon did for him during his military regime.

Perhaps, it appears Mr. President made a big mistake by giving such sensitive positions to one man, which obviously is the case taking cognizance of what is happening in the economy today. It is evident that Fashola cannot handle those sectors alone and Buhari being someone with little or no idea on how to manage the economy is by implication helpless.

Therefore, by every indication, Buhari being clueless on how to manage the economy, has so far been disappointed by his non-performing Ministers who like Idiagbon ought to help him revamp the economy.

Dis write up is as annoying as my horrible X-boss.
The Ministers ain't performing because they weren't appointed 2 perform. Rather they were appointed as compensation 4 their roles or dat of dia Godfathers during d election.
Infact, only the President shld b blamed 4 abandoning the nation for 5months and his poor choices of ministers afterwards.
