A few years ago, I didn’t consider myself to be much of a go-getter. I felt I didn’t fit into that category because I was not self-motivated in getting anything done.

I didn’t deal with pending tasks until it was almost close to the deadlines, then I will hurriedly submit a poorly finished, haphazard work. I was lazy. I constantly lost energy, vitality and drive to get anything done. I knew at the time that I was capable of doing better than I was doing but I just couldn’t get myself to face it. My laziness at the time was evident in my academics, my work, and even my relationships. I took almost everything for granted.

I had a telling setback, which proved necessary to bring me to attention to my situation as if I became aware of it for the very first time.
