Dumb excuse. If they are already receiving threat as claimed by the prosecuting council, then they are already known, nothing has happened to them so no need hiding their identity. Even if they now hide their identity, whoever wants to attack them can still do so haven known them earlier. If they are sure of their testimony, they should come up and testify or the judge should order for their arrest.
