the question should be, why is Architecture broad and very hard to learn?
Firstly, I like to say Architecture isn't hard to learn o, only if you can know the basics and build on them. It bores down to how building elements exist (form and dimensions) and how to design them. To know this, you need to go to a higher institution that offers Architecture as a course where you are offered an opportunity to learn its dogma. In the olden days, architecture wasn't formally learnt, learning it was through apprenticeship.
architecture is broad and deep, but a little in every of its breadth is at least thought. From architectural design studio which gives you an opportunity to design different building every semester (that's where you will learn taking inventory and case studies, designing a functional floor plan, drawing elevations, cutting sections, perspectives and generally drafting) history of architecture, regional planning, urban design which in involves the planning of cities to building services, economics, construction, computer aided, design (CAD) softwares,detailing,building codes E.t.c after going through these courses you can choose to major in an aspect. Maybe history, architectural graphics etc Thank you
