This our National Assembly sef! Na wa! The P.I.B has remained a political document in your wardrobe for years now. Nigerians are tired of this distractive and retrogressive legislation by our almighty law makers. We must move forward any which way without hindrance. |

Nbote: The last few stoppages have been due to pipeline sabotage from enemies of progress that still turn around and scream when they start feeling the effect of their actions. I dont get how we wish for a lot of evil to befall nigeria and then complain when things go wrong. Its like praying for a building you are inside to collapse. We really need to have a change of heart. 1 Like |

KissCODE: What did you say when the militants blew up the pipelines supplying crude to warri and kaduna refinery...at that time fuel was sold at 86.50 with no queue...even in port Harcourt! Did u rejoice or condemn their actions? Even this recent underwater sabotage. We really need to take a good look at the mirror when looking for who to blame |

Reference: Have you heard of Eni, statoil, Petrobas, Aramco, Sinopec? We cannot keep giving up on assets because it was mismanaged by a few people...that will still be the ones to buy it if they turn around to sell it. These companies i mentioned are all still run by human beings with blood in their veins and still one head. Why can we do the same? Sinopec is in China...and they have the death penalty for corruption. Here, common invite for questioning everybody shouts witch hunt, if guity, they shout amnesty. When things continue to go wrong we shout innefective government. We have to have rules and punishment for things to work as we want them to. Thats the difference between private and govt organisations. Goverment, everything is zoning...rather than qualification. Private, its either you are good enough or you get thrown out. Dangote that you mentioned does not pick his management team on quota system. Same for any organization that is on top. |

alt3r3g0:hypocricy is the mother of all backwardness. Telling me to look at the mirror is funny because i cant remember blaming anybody. The best you should do is to direct that word to Buhari & APC led government which keep blaming the past administration for their inability or cluelessness on how to solve the Nigeria equation. |

KissCODE: You cant remember blaming anybody? Scroll up. Let me just educate you a little. There is a difference between blaming someone, and stating a fact. Militants blew up pipelines that caused Warri and Kaduna refineries to shut down due to no products to refine. Will you say i am blaming the militants? I have not heard you go and protest against the militants for the destruction of the environment and hardship that their actions have caused. Now you talk on cluelessness on solving Nigerians problems... If tackling corruption, making refineries work so that we not only stop importing, but have excess to export, this will not only reduce the pressure on limited foreign exchange but also generate more foreign exchange, (remember this is the same area where for 16 years others were comfortable with allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry to keep importing with no plan to end the importation) even sets an 18 month target to succeed and you are here showing your intelligence by calling it cluelessness. Lets call a spade a spade. Like i said before...take a good look in the mirror and receive sense. |

alt3r3g0: What last few stoppages are u exactly referring to Are u referring to the current fuel scarcity, or d refineries dat were claimed to have started production but are still as dysfunctional as it has always been. If u had read my post well and and understand my point of view based on present realities then u'ld have understood what it meant. I simply stated d obvious dat for d nation to stop importing fuel den d refineries must have to be working and at full capacity for the goal of stopping fuel importation to be achieved. Even new ones would even have to be built for the nation's fuel demands to be fully met. However at various times over the past few months, d NNPC itself has come out to tell Nigerians d refineries are yet to start production while at the same time d govt has come out to claim they were all now fully running... Like I said earlier, all d useless propagandist statements would have to be put aside and actual works carried out instead of "words of mouth". If dis nation has to move forward and if things are to get done, people have to stop blaming others for the state of things and actually do their part to change or atleast improve on the status quo. We really need a change of heart from dis new trend of having to blame someone and something for everything wrong instead of doing something about what's wrong. It's really getting boring. |
