Rivers State has being a den of cult activities,right from the days of peter Odili,Celestine Omehia and Rotimi Amaechi.Politicians breed these cultists,arm and used them for elections.The attending consequence is proliferation of small arms.By extension,they fight for supremacy to be still relevant in the scheme of choice by politicians for their readily used during elections.All stakeholders,politicians,security agencies should come on board to mediate among these cult groups.Better still politicians should stop making these hoodlums activities recrutives thus stop paying them heavily for their activities.Cultism in Rivers state is a serious problem that call for urgent attention.
