ovadozes: There are two types of people in the world. Those that generate ideas which move the world forward and those that generate blame from the past. It is bad when people blame others for their failures, but what is even worse for any society is when leaders keep blaming their past for their current ineffectiveness. These set of leaders have no ideas. Vandalism has been a part of the problem since the era of the military. If this new government is coming up with the same lame excuse we had in the 90s , then we need to brace ourselves for the worse. It simply means they don't know what they are doing. Even just yesterday, PMB was still blaming MTN for escalating BH operations without any directive to the NCC on how to improve on the mistake of the past. Like I said before, those who have no ideas are left with only the blame option. 8 Likes 1 Share |

i agree that pipelines are being vandalized. we have gas pipelines and fuel pipelines. is it gas pipelines that are being vandalized? i believe fuel pipelines are being vandalized but our leaders are hiding under this to make a case. before it was low water that was the cause of low power generation, now its vandalized pipelines that are probably not gas pipelines. who are they fooling? this govt has failed. POWER--- FAILURE ( people now leave their generators on even when nepa brings light) FUEL------SERIOUS FAILURE. (scarcity almost every month) DOLLAR----ALL TIME HIGH Our nations problems goes beyond corruption which seems to be his only selling point. He is not even putting measures to curb corruption. all he is doing is to catch people that have stolen if not, the budget which ought to have been reviewed before being passed to the senate would not be the way it was. Nonsense country. So it is the people's responsibility to secure gas pipelines? What happened to the proposals submitted to these guys to allow the installation of modern security gadgets to protect these infrastructure? We have the option of CCTV, electric fencing, motion detectors, laser fencing, e.t.c. Even though it is usually over a very long distance but we have to find a way to secure those pipes. Nigeria is really a joke. |

I will like the government to take some credible media personality on an inspection tour of those vandalised pipelines so people can have a true picture of what we are dealing with. |

BUHARI: I have told you that Nigeria is broke, and about power failure, we are going to probe the sector. I have learnt that there are saboteurs in that ministry... If only past govt had taken power sector seriously when the oil price was all time high, we shouldn't have been experiencing this. |

amazingspiderma:That's the problem...the present government seems not to be prepared for governance, this blame game is becoming so worrisome, they said GEJ was clueless and was voted out yet they re still using his administration as a yardstick for measuring their failures and successes. I don't just get it and when u criticise the present administration the guy I quoted and his likes will label you 'ipod tout' everything they accused the past govt of doing is the same thing they re doing right now. 1 Like |

bonechamberlain:Some of you really need to go out and experience the nation, the excuse about gas shortage is genuine. I currently reside in one of these riverine communities in the south south and the damage done to the pipeline by militants has even forced shell to stop their operations here, we are currently experiencing a black out here when normally light is always available 24/7 and the reason is because some idiots decided to go blow up the pipeline. Now if buhari sends military personnel to go and blow them up to smithereens, it's you guys that will shout genocide. What exactly do you people want? 1 Like 3 Shares |

dassyslimmy: Typical black man, black sense, with black mentality. Those fooools at the top know how gullible we are in this country that is why whenever they fail, they attribute it to God, like saying stewpid things like God let it happen. So we should just go into our houses and start firing prayers and fasting while some incompetent goats are feeding fat on our wealth? How other low can a black man sink? Nobody should get me wrong tho. I believe that God exists and created mankind. But let's not forget he created us with our individual mindset and mentality. We shouldn't put the blames of our actions on the devil when we can resist the devil. We don't need to pray for Buhari to perform, when of course we know that our politicians are all evil and don't practice their religion with their hearts but will use the same religion to hold us down like blind fools while they steal us blind. Keep praying and fasting oh. In short, don't even eat at all, while Buhari keeps globetrotting and feeding with over a billion naira of our common wealth. 1 Like |

You are the one making comedy out of it because your reading capability is clearly diminished. My post clearly stated moving away from GAS POWERED PLANTS to those powered using coal or by turbines powered by flow of water(dams). You seem like an illiterate that has a very low grasp of knowledge. |
