Something makes me feel that the labour unions (PENGASSAN AND NUPENG) are flabbergasted that this government did not go the usual way to bribe them before coming out with the restructuring. It seems that's what they meant by saying they were not carried along. From all indication, they have no argument against the restructuring. Since the time of Oshomole as NLC president, Labour Unions in Nigeria have never called off any strike. They only suspend the strike and that is the end. Can you all remember that they are still on suspension on the 2012 Fuel Subsidy removal strike under GEJ  A set of unserious and corrupt labour leaders.. 1 Like |
