My laptop has developed a fault. When plugged into power,it will read 'plugged in but not charging' and you can use it till whenever,as long as there's power supply. The battery level will neither increase nor decrease.
However,I have come across some chargers that actually got it charging.
Please,I need to know if its a charger problem or the battery problem and what I can do about it.

Change which one? The battery or the charger.
But I recently got a charger and it started charging the laptop again. So that got me confused as to whether their was a capacity or voltage issue with the previous charger

If your battery is @ 0% and it's writing plugged in not charging, your power pack or battery is faulty. in order to find out which 1, charge your laptop with another charger if it's charging then it ur charger that is faulty but if it's not then it's time to replace ur battery.
else if your battery percentage is greater than zero lemme know there is a fix for that without replacing your battery or powerpack.

Although on a very occassion(like right now),it will start charging d laptop

Is a motherboard problem but I can fix it for u just 6k so it will charger ur battery but make sure ur battery is still Good call, or whatsapp me 08064404857

this method has been tested by me and it works for me anytime.
first of all, charge the laptop till it start bringing plugged in not charging.

unplug it, then switch to power saver mode on your power plan, edit it and make sure you allow the display to die after one minute and set the computer to sleep and hibernate after like four five hours.

leave your computer like that and don't do anything on it until the battery runs down and the system hibernate by itself.

This will allow the operating system to correctly gauge the battery level correctly.

The problem occured in the first place b.cause u just upgrade your operating system.

Obviously, d problem is with the charger. My own charger has been doing like that fr a year now. The problem with it is dt a small metal pin inside d charger (d point you connect to system) has either broken or bent.
You can manage it like that or get a new charger.

....been using mine like dt for more than a year!
