From what began as a rumour and speculation, the news of the divorce of Pastor Chris Oyakhikome and now estranged wife, Miss Anita, also a Pastor of the UK branch of a Church founded by both partners, gathered momentum and came to a head when it was officially announced that the proceedings have been consummated.Over the years,the simmering tension has been hidden beneath a facade of smiles and a poker face.All seemed alright.They portrayed what a perfect union should be like.But no one knew the true picture;The true state of things.For ten years both couple loathed and disdained eachother.They lived a lie and portrayed a falsehood to the congregation.But on counselling days, they did give one to troubled marriages.But when the heat became too overwhelming,they both sought a vent and found none on the temple of forgiveness.Instead,they chose the divorce option.This choice of decision speaks volumes of the true colours of both couples.Unforgiving,Stiff-necked,Stone-hearted,Envious,Jealous are the demons that takes over one before one reaches the threshold of divorce.But both chose not to fight these demon and for ten years,they incubated and brought about a topsy turvy ferment.But it still beats my imagination and not by any stretch can I fathom why Chris chose to forfeit everything in the photos below
