Hello,

I was applying for google adsense and when i was prompted for my post code i filled 23401 but it was rejected.I visited nipost website and the post codes were different, e.g 100007 for shomolu n other parts of lagos.

when was it changed or has it always been that way?

Yes, there is defferent b/w postcode and phonecode. 23401 is telephone code, 234 for Nigeria, 233 for Ghana, 01 for lagos land line. You need that to call Nigeria from outside the country. Postal code is that of 10007 etc, depending your state and the area you stay.
