The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the unbundling the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) into four units. Making this known, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, who also doubles as the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the corporation, said President Muhammadu Buhari approved the restructuring. According to him, "The new NNPC comprises a lean headquarters and four autonomous business units. "The four units are Upstream Company, Downstream Company, Refinery Company and Gas/ Power Company." 1 Like 1 Share |
