The icing on that cake was served two weeks ago when it was announced that he would be co-hosting the first ever edition of ‘Lip Sync Battle Africa’ alongside Pearl Thusi. However, there’s never sunshine without a bit of rain and it seems as if the Kokomaster may have a headache to deal with after his manager and producer reportedly left his label very recently.
Nigerian publication NET is reporting that Deevee, D’Banj’s producer, and Jei Jei Lee, his manager have both parted ways with the singer’s label, DB Records. Deevee has been a producer at the label for the past four years and recently produced hits such as ‘Bother You’ and ‘Finally’ for D’Banj. The producer seemed to confirm the news on social media when he shared a post that also said “4 Years After… end of an era”.
Meanwhile, both he and Jei Jei Lee, who has managed D’Banj for the past 2 years, have changed their social media bios and removed any links to DB Records.
