Sahara reporters has been called all sort of derogatory names, especially when Gej was president. Many saw SR has a propaganda tool of the APC. Fastforward to this year and this unbiased news outlet remains the best especially in their investigative journalism. So is SR now a propaganda tool of PDP as the keep exposing APC and the presidency? Sahara reporters has on many occasions revealed embarrassing deceptions president Buhari led administration would have preferred covered. In my opinion, SR should be encouraged to keep up the good work. They have been unbiased so far and I urge them to continue in this spirit for the good of our nation 10 Likes 1 Share |

cckris: Only those APC supporters who didn't know why they voted APC are regretting, mainly last minute decampees and political jobbers who are only after their pockets. Those of us who know why we were voting apc can never regret less than a year into the administration because we know the mess of 16 years takes time cleaning. 6 Likes |

Special interests has the ability to plant self serving news on any media outlet be it Sahara reporters, al Jazeera or CNN. If you can read inbetween the lines and identify the hidden hands pulling the strings on news, Political social economic news becomes sweeter than chess or Go. |

Rolings:All the very reasons the masses voted APC has gone from bad to worse. To add salt to injury, APC has denied virtually all campaign promises. What is CHANGE? Change is certainly not padding and planting the greatest heist known to the Blackman into the 2016 budget nor continuing in the tradition of nepotism. What has really changed? Nepa? fuel? food? water? security? what short term plans has been put into place to cushion things before the long term goals matures? The corruption currently ongoing in this administration within 10 months is quite depressing. |
Re: Sahara Reporters Deserve The Respect Of Nigerians by Rolings: 9:39am On Mar 16, 2016 |
SleekMallam: No. You tell me what is happening now that has not been happening before .some getting better while others get worse . About the budget it's actually change that has brought the anomalies out. Previous budgets were just rubber stamped and has never had up to 50% implementation. If not until some years ago when the ministry of justice returned unspent budget nobody thought of it and the ministries were simply embezzling their unspent funds because they always get another money the following year. Change has made the national assembly do their work without fear or favour and without any interference from presidency. It's only you that is seeing corruption in this government because as far as I can see this government is prudent and better manager of resources |
Re: Sahara Reporters Deserve The Respect Of Nigerians by SleekMallam: 9:53am On Mar 16, 2016 |
Rolings:Nothing change in padding a budget and stealing it back like a thief in the night to round figures up once it was called out by same masses that voted to see change. What three things can you say has gotten better in the last 10 months? Perhaps nepotism skewed in favour of the Buharis and Atikus? or the sudden love from fulani militias? or the brotherly love between the 95% and 5%?perhaps it's the blood of baboons and dogs about to soak in Rivers state? |
Re: Sahara Reporters Deserve The Respect Of Nigerians by Rolings: 1:13pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
SleekMallam: Petrol is cheaper, there is more transparency in governance ,local manufacturers are seeing increased sales due to forex restriction many companies now produce at full capacity and are even expanding. Nepotism has always been in Nigeria tell me was GEJ not fabourably disposed to appointing people from south south and south east ? Fulani militias have been attacking communities that habour cattle rustlers for long as for rivers go back down memory lane and you will realize what is happening now is child's play . |
Re: Sahara Reporters Deserve The Respect Of Nigerians by SleekMallam: 2:00pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
Rolings: Petrol cheaper? it is on record that Apc and Buhari propagated different theorems on how petrol should sell for 40 naira per liter with barrel of crude going for above $80 per barrel in the international market. Today, a barrel goes for less than $40 yet we don't even see the product to buy at official rate of 100 naira per liter. Transparency in government? Since the last 10 months, Buhari has been running the economy like an occult. nobody knows exactly how much has been recovered from corruption and when such monies are lodged? It is on record that most local manufacturers has either relocated to some African nations or totally shutdown for lack of power supply or inability to access forex for critical raw materials. It is also on record that companies in Nigeria has downsized and fired more staff in the 10 months of this administration than I'm the last 10 years. Your argument for fulani militias killing and sacking communities as a result of cattle rustlers is untenable. |
Re: Sahara Reporters Deserve The Respect Of Nigerians by Rolings: 9:17pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
SleekMallam: Petrol is 86.50 in Nigeria I don't know where you live. Also were you not aware over 2.5 trillion in the TSA and a budget has been presented so how is the economy run secretly. It's even the previous governments that hid all those money now in the TSA and some few government officials were collecting interests (TSA was actually conceptualized under Gej but he lacked the balls to implement) and the administration has already told us the list of all recovered money will be published soon so chill. Even in the boom years companies were hiring and firing in short it's Normal to hire and fire it's no big deal. What you failed to realize is that as some companies are downsizing others are employing more and expanding their businesses it happens all the time. So you think it's right for some criminals to kill a fulani man just to steal his cattle and sell such for peanuts ? Security forces turn blind eye seeing those rustlers go free that's why some fulanis have taken the law in their hand. Cattle rustlers are just like the armed robbers that Rob us everyday have you not seen instances of people burning down such thieves? This is not supporting the fulani herdsmen for atrocities but laying the issues bare. |
