The Re- Rin Elections.. A Case Of Of Denial Of Fundamental Right by sammhi(m): 9:53am On Mar 16, 2016
I wonder why Nigerian politicians are not challenging INEC and the national assembly for a violation of their fundamental human right.
why will the electoral act infringe on their fundamental right to justice and equality.
The electoral act stated that legislative and senatorial election petition will only end at Appeal court. This is total nonsense and a breach of right to fair and just hearing. !
What is the basis of such an act? Are we to conclude that the Senate elections and those of the legislators are of little or no importance?
By enacting such obnoxious and illegal law, the national assembly and INEC has done incalculable harm to this country and wasted a lot of our resources on needless re- run elections that may otherwise have been handle much better by the Supreme court.
In conclusion, no one has a right to make a law that stifles how far you can Appeal your case. the Constitution has already done that.....no other act or law can negate that of the Constitution.
