Aalafin is Aalafin, no doubt about that. Problem is, military might of the past, doesn`t necessarily determine the traditional might of the present. I think most Yorubas see Ooni as the most important Oba in Yorubaland. Unless, of course, Ile Ife is no more the cradle of Yorubaland.
