The Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday declared the
Caretaker Committee Chairman of Asari-Toru Local
Government Area of Rivers, Mr. Sobomabo Jackrick,
wanted as a result of the violence in his area.
The Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of
Operations, Mr. Sotonye Wakama, told journalists in
Port Harcourt that the CTC chairman was declared
wanted following the discovery of arms in his residence.
Jackrich, aka Egberipapa, is a former militant leader
who embraced the Federal Government’s amnesty
before he was appointed the CTC chairman by the State
Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike.
He is being declared wanted by the police after the
kidnap of his mother by unknown gunmen more than a
week ago.
Wakama said measures had been put in place to ensure
the protection of lives and property before, during and
after the rerun elections.
The DIG, who was deployed in Rivers for the state and
National Assembly rerun elections, explained that the
Nigeria Police Force was saddened by the “tragic and
senseless” killings in the state.
He promised that the police would stop at nothing to
bring those fomenting trouble in the state to book,
adding that none of the culprits would be allowed to go

B4 d annulment of Rivers state house of Assembly election, there about five known militants in Rivers state house of Assembly under d platform of d PDP. Fara Dagogo is one of them. While Wike was appointing local govt caretaker chairmen, Wike went ahead to appoint militants as care taker chairmen. Nearly all of them are militants and cult members. Of which Samuel Wanosike aka Isi the current caretaker chairman of Ikwere LGA in Rivers state is a known militant in Rivers state. Rivers must be ruled and governor with men and women with integrity whether from d APC or d PDP and not militants and cult members.

lemme say categorically that I don't think Rivers politicians and some youths know what they are doing....u see a whole governor preaching violence on AIT during this their campaigns and the youths cheering him. He was telling them indirectly to cause election violence on live TV and they were hailing him. They have forgotten that he won't be there to fave guns but they will, his kids will be somewhere safe but they are not, it is either they are killed or rot in jail and no one will care only their families will bear the burden. Ameachi was also saying he will go to his ward to club...for goodness sake these are matured men.
