I can't comprehend how some JOKER and bigots in this country Nigeria even think of IBB answer. they were only kids sucking on the saggy bitter tits of their mom when IBB was dribbling us left and right. |

Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by Odeku(m): 11:49pm On Nov 10, 2006 |
I am a lover not a fighter, I don't know IBB personally, but the reason most of us are stuck overseas now is because there is nothing to go back to in Nigeria. Most people left Nigeria in search of better school, job and hope to return back to Nigeria and try to make a difference, but the though of the people like IBB that destroyed that country trying to come back brings nothing but anguish and bitterness back, and for all this ZOMBIES to say he is the man with vision is even annoying Prime example this punk IBB saying he is going for the GOLD that signified a wicked man with no intention to better our love nation. He want to come back to cover his loose tracks or trying to find away to get some of his stolen money. Duke promised might be empty but i prefer empty promise than to a price seeker. |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by tyrex(m): 7:11pm On Nov 11, 2006 |
I'm glad you understand that Duke's promises are empty, I am from his state and we know what has transpired in 8 years, he had done a lot no doubt, to enhance his status and his image to the people outside but the people of the state are poverty striken, on a more serious note I'm not trying to talk anyone out of voting for him, but we have to look very well, b4 we leap - all that glitters is not gold. About his empty promises I'm glad U know that thats exactly what they are. So which type of president would you want for Nigeria a "Liar" or a "tyrant" you can see that there is clearly nothing to chose between the two, so lets focus our minds on other people. I honestly believe in people like Prof. Pat Utomi but who will give them a chance? |

This is the most busy forum of Nigerians on the web. This forum makes us think we have democracy, decency or decorum as Nigerians but far from it. Let everybody wake up, We have no democracy yet and no matter how much OBJ shouts anti-corruption there is no decency or decorum in this nairaland. How come IBB is not in jail? How come OBJ went to court but IBB did not? How come the FG keeps violating court orders? How come IBB is a member of the PDP and has picked up a presidential form? How come some Nigerians believe he has won? How come Nigerians are afraid? I can answer the first question with the answer IBB himself provided "Crocodiles don't eat crocodiles" The second is similar to the first The third is also similar to the first? The fourth is that IBB is a crocodile and PDP is a crocodile party. The other answer to the other questions is that humans are afraid of crocodiles. OBJ got a second chance because of two reasons, (1) he handed over power to democracy and a northerner and it makes sense for people to believe he is a democrat. (2) IBB sponsored his election and backed him to power with money. IBB should not and must not get another chance because (1) IBB's policies and leadership style were devious and had no agenda for the common man. He is also an unrepentant demon "I have no regret of my past actions - IBB." In other words he does not care what we feel and it is now he wants to tell us what really made him take his decisions such that we may believe him. It is too late oga, pls respect our feelings. (2) he anulled a free and fair election that unified the country and rather prefered to hand over to a stooge of his. For these reasons, it is apparent IBB is not a believer in democracy. For these reasons as well, it is not possible for him to win as it does not follow, logically, or otherwise. Never vote a CROCODILE or their party. People Destroying Peoples must never rule us again. |

Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by Odeku(m): 11:15pm On Nov 13, 2006 |
people wait and see please all he did was pick up a form. it's just like pcking up employment application, he has to fill the form out and be accepted. he has not been accepted so we have to wait and see. |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by tyrex(m): 7:45pm On Nov 14, 2006 |
Odeku, we must not 4get that IBB is one of the most powerful and influential Nigerians alive (being as neutral as possible). This really gives me cause for concern and to think that he's got the support, friendship and backing of the PDP chairman. Thats the part that gives me the creeps. |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by BUSHFELLOW(m): 7:59pm On Nov 14, 2006 |
Crocodiles do eat crocodile my friend watch documentry and you will understand. This might be the begining of his fall |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by Odeku(m): 8:06pm On Nov 14, 2006 |
BUSHFELLOW abeg tell them, money is evil and sometimes when you have so much money you tend to think you are on top of the world, Tafa balogun one of the best man I've ever meet in my life, look at what happened after he stole. people are pushing IBB all they want is his money or our money then reality will hit him. lets wait and see how this unfold |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by BUSHFELLOW(m): 8:23pm On Nov 14, 2006 |
People fail to understand that every one is free to pick a form that is their legal right, even a mad man can pick the presidential form from any party if he feels he is the best man for the position but not every one is capable of wining the primaries be it PDP or what ever believe me the best candidate will win this time if only we don't sell our conscience |

Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by Odeku(m): 7:09pm On Nov 16, 2006 |
Its not about hating the guy, all he had to do was said he is sorry for his mistakes, but I guess you can't apologise if you cant even see that you've done wrong. |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by belloti(m): 9:56am On Nov 21, 2006 |
You guys should give Ibb a chance. we are all bunch of unfortunate tribalist. the poll should show you that 99% of people condemning IBB are southerners and vice versa. we are not talking about the evils that IBB did but we are only concern about where he comes from. Have you ever asked yourselves about the Southern cronies of IBB that assisted him in looting our resources? Lets just allow him to meet his fate at the poll. May 2007, May Almighty God provide us with the messiah that will take us out of the woods. |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by BigB11(m): 3:20pm On Nov 21, 2006 |
It is so obvious that most of Mr Duke's supporters are not supporting him for the sake of better Nigeria, but only for the sake of attaining an over due objective of the southerners. And not to take anything away from Mr DUKE, he's a fine man; but if we want to move our lovely country forward, we need to draw away from that filthy mentality. It shouldn't matter whether the next president is Yoruba , Igbo or Hausa. Our main focus should be electing an experienced, competent and well respected individual. What people do not understand is the fact that we are all one and we do represent one another indirectly, period. May God bless Nigeria. |
Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by tyrex(m): 9:57pm On Nov 21, 2006 |
I'm really concerned about all these Duke supporters too oh. The fact that a child likes candy does not mean you have to give him candy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reason it out, the fact that that guy is "good" now does not mean he will be good as president. Let us accept these people with a pinch of salt. As Nigerians I think we have enough experience to prevent us from doing otherwise. What is good for the goose may not be good for the gander, a word is enough for the wise. |

Re: Ibb, Nigeria's Next President by lewa(m): 7:14pm On Nov 22, 2006 |
Belloti et al, please post your reference concerning the polls that most of Ibb's detractors are southerners? In case you don't know for a president the buck stops at his table so whether IBB had southern collaborators or not is of irrelevant concequence-he led and presided as dictator in a military junta, incase your history ain't good enough! Anyways i'm unapologetic saying this the whole parade of aspiring candidates from the north is at best unacceptable. The presidency is not for the highest bidder and the world has moved forward we cannot have kleptocrats and those with jackboot mentality to rule again and i'm sure the majority of Nigerians share this with me!So for now the present crop of northern aspirants cannot be anyway compared to those from the south vis a vis their resumes and their antecedents!Maybe your own generation like bighead and others might have something to offer later. IBB should forget again, he's only gonna spend and spend and face the derison of Nigerians eventually. |

God forbid. Ibb unleashed a reign of terror for 8 good years & failed this Country woefully. Why does he want to stage a come back? He probably forgot some precious stones in Aso Rock which he wants to retrieve at all cost. Otherwise why is he so bent on coming back. He should realise that Nigeria is not his father's property. Man proposes, God disposes. When Abacha was chanting "na me cap fit" little did he know that he would not be able to wear the cap. Ibb beware. Ibb is using his wealth to try to impose himself on Nigerians. We Nigerians have no weapon to fight this battle. God has given us victory & that is all that matters to me. GEJ FOR PRESIDENT! |

IBB = International Barawo Bandit May I remind everybody that Adolf Hitler got voted in via the democratic process, and as soon as he got in he suspended/destroyed the system and announced a dictatorship. IBB already has experience of manipulating the polity. |
